If you can find a job there or a remote job then the countryside or small towns are the best places. Nearly every city is shit tier. Because in citites you have to either pay massively to live in a good neighbourhood, you live in an unsafe migrant infested neighbourhood or you live outisde and have a long commute.

No. St. Petersburg is an absolutely provincial city, it's no different from shitholes like said Kazan, idk why it's so overhyped, it's miles behind Moscow in every metric.
