I've been watching some shows from 1999-2009 and find myself feeling extremely nostalgic for this time. Not only were the shows much better back then, but almost everything else was too. Do you feel the same in your country?

Movies are drifting further and further away from my taste.
Take F1. It made me think of that Avengers movie I saw a while ago. An endless series of boom boom bright colors, "everyone will band together to win this!" plot points, and rapid cuts. how can two movies with such distinct environments be the same?
I'm not talking about a24 shit, but blockbusters. Blockbusters from the 90s are still enjoyable, but anything after 2015 just seems like some execs pulled out a sheet with "how to keep monkey brain active for 2 hours" and every director follows the same script every time.
