>Minor flood in rural texas
>150+ dead
WTF is going on in America? This is like China tier number of dead from floods. And at least China has the excuse of having mega-cities built along some of the largest rivers in the world, and with days of monsoon rains. This is a small river in rural texas, with mere hours of intense rainfall and there's almost 200 dead? 3rd world tier desu.
>>212571533 (OP)No money for building infrastructure. It all went to israel o algo
>>212571533 (OP)>WTF is going on in America?Mass deregulation in a stealth shithole state. Texas is incredibly wealthy but that just doesn't translate to anything tangible for the majority of people living there. So when SHTF, it really hits the fan.
Americans have black admixture so they can't swim
>>212571564>>212571548How were there even that many people in a small rural part of texas anyway?
>>212571533 (OP)Any time anything happens their politicians just send thoughts and prayers instead of doing anything to prevent similar accidents from happening in the future. Americans keep voting for them, because they are good christians.
One winter a few years ago it got slightly colder than usual in texas and a similar number of people died because of massive blackouts, destroyed buildings etc. I don't even know exactly what happened but it was a huge deadly disaster somehow.
>>212571603its camping season here and most do it by the river that flooded
>>212571533 (OP)Thots and frierens is everything American people need
>>212571533 (OP)>>212571618Maybe they should've prayed harder? Ever thought about that?
Slash disaster relief and emergency program funding and that will happen.
I don't understand how a flood can kill that many people. Surely you'd notice the water rising up to your feet and realize it will get worse so you should evacuate. Instead they just stay inside until it's too late?
Probably sounds soy but i always feel horrible hearing news about civiliabs dying like this no matter the country. So many lives ruined
>>212571741Id vote for a literal marxist if i lived there and read this shit
>>212571824Not really. You could've spent $10B on disaster prevention or relief aid and nothing would've changed. It's not about the money or the programs they fund.
The money would've been better spent elsewhere. Or given to somebody else.
>>212571883Karl Marx almost moved to Texas actually
Lots of Germans and other central euros did at the time
>>212571995I think it was Texas (or maybe some other state) where German was once the most spoken language, even ahead of English.
>>212571959Exactly. Another million billion gorillion to Israel.
>>212571533 (OP)Floods can happen quickly and be very deadly
>>212571533 (OP)apparently Texas is sliding toward failed-state conditions
>>212572195You obviously don't know what flash floods are
>>212572331As compared to the country sized floods that can flood multiple cities, yes, this is a tiny flood, flash flood or not. And again, similar death rate.
im surprised americans are so lax when so many of them got totally wacked by this. 3000 americans got wacked and they proceeded to kill fucking everyone in the middle east and still are by proxy via israel to this day. You'd see stories about how 4051612 afghans died but 3 americans also died and how it was such a sad national tragedy.
Americans treat 1 of theirs dead = 1000000 other people dead but at least they used to. Now they get straight up meat grindered in a few days like here and they don't give a fuck. The america I knew would drop seethe at mother nature itself and drop nuclear bombs on the ocean for revenge or some shit.
>>212571548>>212571564>>212571618>>212571824This doesn't address the question. How can a localised flash flood kill 200 people? OP is right, it's utterly baffling. Were they all having a BBQ in a dry river bed or something?
>>212574097All the people who died were in a place called "Flash Flood Valley" too. It's a god blessed american tradition to populate in likely disaster locations (all of california)
sadly for americans, they can't have anyone to blame for this. Maybe they'll declare war on nature and nuke new zealand thinking its Atlantis or something
SO.... It happened... AGAIN!
>>212574053Easier to rile themselves against foreign brown people.
They do not even want to admit that installing sirens and having somebody keeping watch could have prevented this.
>>212571533 (OP)Ever since Haiyan/Yolanda hit my country in 2013, when the weather forecaster says that there is high chance of flooding, we literally evacuate to high ground.
US is the richest country on earth, why don't they listen to their government to evacuate?
>>212571852It's not soy to be a decent human being. Stop believing in statements made by presumptuous tough guys on the internet that thinks certain cruelty or apathy should be accepted even celebrated.
Y*hwh robbed us another cunnies
>>212574553I don't like US and China, but you Indos literally have no empathy. You guys are lucky to live in a country with no flooding
>>212571533 (OP)in china minor flood in rural areas is 150000 deaths
>>212572023Americans committed a cultural genocide against german-americans during ww1 because washington wanted to be big boys and ramped up the anti-german propaganda. We're talking murders and arrests for speaking german.
>>212574590FilChi here.
This was common in the 1970s-1990s when China was a shithole(my grandparents migrated to PH), but now the deaths are decreasing
>>212574417>why don't they listen to their governmentYou just answered your own question. Americans have not had a high trust society in a long long time thanks in part to backstabbing politicians, greedy and soul sucking corporations, and lying cults and churches
>>212574590In modern China, even the larger floods only result in hundreds of deaths.
>>212574579>a country with no floodingHas it ever comes to you that maybe we are less shocked by events like this because weve seen it before too many times in this shithole?
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand.
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell, and great was the fall of it.
