I think the main reason people dislike her is because when the government privatized all the state owned industries they never got rid of the regulations that restricted companies abilities to construct things. So now all the infrastructure and housing stock is outdated and can't keep up with demand.

The first thing you need to know about Poms is that they will whinge and whinge and whinge and whinge and FUCKING whinge. Also, the Irish have poisoned the well about Maggie. She was great, so was Blair. Maybe if Poms hadn't whinged about Poles coming to their country before Brexit they wouldn't be flooded with Ngubu and Rajesh and Omar. Poms are literally dumb enough to trade a Stanislav for an Ngubu. They deserve everything that comes to them.

because she only catered to the rich and big corporations while totally ignored the simple man, especially from the working class
that's why the UK has so many grim post-industrial towns full of chavs and angry boomers who voted for brexit
i have no idea why she's presented as a genius by libs, pretty much all of europe had a problem with heavy industry becoming obsolete and inefficient but in every other western country this problem was handled with somehow milder measures that did not inflict such big economic and social damage on the society

I totally understand them, Stanislav took their job while Ngubu doesn't take anything from them. If I were British I'd dislike Stanislav more too.

Actually focusing on Eastern Europeans makes Brits more noble in my eyes, it means they actually want to work, simply they don't want unfair competition in that. If they disliked welfare seekers more then I'd despise Brits more because it would mean they have no work ethics and only want to live on the dole.

I didn't say that. The last point is especially funny since that's the exact thing shock therapy policies lead to. Compare the disparities between southern and the center/north of England, which have only recently begun shrinking (as austerity now impacts the south as well) to the more pro-active policy of Germany after unification.

Because it comes at the cost of comfort. More prosperity and greater wealth, yet everyone is overworked, constantly stressed, and burned out. Look at South Korea, their economic miracle came at the cost of their happiness. Chile also had an economic miracle, but unlike the Koreans, they have less endurance and tolerance, so they're speedrunning back to communism, and their quality of life is going to return to India-tier, which is natural for them.

Maybe Northerners should move to where the money is. Jobs don't come to you. You come to jobs. Austerity isn't real. Do leftists think that it would have been sensible fiscal policy to spend into the red when Britain's economy was booming? That would have mitigated any economic development via inflation. QOL isn't brought by the government unless you're talking about infrastructure

Bravo thatcher! Same shit happened in Adelaide when manufacturing closed down so around the port there are just chronic dole bludges who literally haven’t worked jobs since their grandparents. Getting rid of these industries doesn’t make space for new better jobs, it just removes them with no replacements

that already depends on how good your government is at managing stuff and economic planning
if the government is well informed and not corrupt then it can easily allocate necessary resources to make the factories competitive and profitable
look at how China does it, their state-owned companies are extremely effective

It's cyclical. At some point, people are sick and tired of living in squalor and dilapidation that they demand better conditions, and are willing to work for it. Then they get that development, but they're still working like a dog, so they start refusing, so that they can enjoy that which they have built. Then the country slides into neglect and stagnation. And so the pattern repeats. Of course there are many variables and intermittent scenarios that can delay or accelerate this "wave", but it's still inevitable.
