Some kazakhs really do have russian blood.
During the 18th century many russian peasants tried to escape to kazakh steppes because of harsh conditions of russian bondman who were basically slaves. Some of these families were sold as slaves though but many were assimilated either through marriage to kazakh men for women or warrior path for men. They were called not fully kazakh because of their slavic past. Russian empire tried to reintegrate some of them, but they hated Russia so much that have chosen to stay. And they also participated in raids of russian settlements and anti colonial uprisings.
Very ironic.
