TV too low. Buy 2 boxes of beer, drink the content, return the bottle/can into the box and use them as tv table.

On my first trip I was just in Tokyo. Back in December 2017. It was fun, spent two weeks exploring the city. Even got some snow which was cool.
Second trip was south down to the islands, Okinawa, Yakushima and some other places plus Nagasaki. Way different vibe down there but it was August and the temp pushed 35+ almost daily so be aware.
This time I am going back to Tokyo for a week, then one week each in Kyoto and Fukuoka.

I highly recommend taking flights/trains across the country and not just staying in one city.

Comparably clean, if a much more cluttered. I like life best on terms ornate to the point of grotesque, provided there's a lot of quiet and privacy, surroundings serene in general effect.

I have a good job and make enough money to be comfortable
Up until the last few months I had zero irl friends and all of my social interactions were going to bars and not talking to anyone, but I have slowly pieced together a few friends
Still absolutely hopeless at trying to get a gf tho

You're supposed to have space for at least a couple of other people to sit as well, the TV should be on top of something that looks nice and you should have at least some decorations

okay so some folding chairs that can be put away easily.
>the TV should be on top of something
I agree, it's uncomfortable to strain your neck. Just get a cheap second hand TV stand.
>that looks nice
very vague. what do you think looks "nice"?
>some decorations
also vague. You mean like movie posters or something?

I'm a retired NEET and have about a 10 X10 meter space all to myself, in a rural setting where my front door faces a cute courtyard dominated by a 70 year-old flowering apple, and my back windows face 10 acres of lawn. I'm lucky as fuck in terms of the setting, and in most respects in terms of neighbors too I drive a luxury sedan that's about 22 years old and feels pretty fine going 90 on a route near me. I sleep almost every night in summer with my front door ajar and the AC set to about 73.

I think I know why I'm here, but I don't particularly enjoy life, there's more bad than good, and the bad things are worse than the good things, the latter does not make up for the former.
