Swedish buildings require serious planning, approval, material research and additional approvals, documents and inspections. Nothing is done without 9000 layers of red tape you have to go through first.
And if someone builds without all that, it's demolished the next week. Because our government loves tearing shit down. It's their favorite hobby.
