They have so masculine voices, that the contrast with my faggy frog’s accent makes me insecure.

When I lived in Britain, a person there told me "American accents are fine on TV, but horrible to hear in real life"
I just love the idea that me saying "Hey, how are ya?! :)" is enough to fill the natives with a sense of horrible dread

American mens voices are mostly fine. American women and the way they screech and whine is the most annoying sound on the planet and you hear it everywhere when you go to London.

American women have been making themselves sound more annoying on purpose for decades now, I can't entirely explain it. It's definitely the impact of "California voice" on TV and social media, including vocal fry and saying filler words ("Like...uh...ya know").

Listen to how Boomers sounded in the 60s by contrast:

Their accents are still annoying, especially how they pronounce 'world' as 'whirrlllddd'.

I think you're being too picky. Some of the male voices are 'whiny' it's true. But in general they sound less shrill and more put-together than young people now.

listen to how they pronounce 'anxiety' as 'anxiery, 'party' as 'parry, 'have' as 'haive'. Its the typical American accent, pronouncing 't's as 'd's in some words, and as 'r's in others.
