This brand of American who's obsessed with the supposedly imminent collapse of the Chinese economy and government has always been extremely funny to me. But 60 years isn’t that long a timeframe in historical terms. Even if they get the precise decade wrong, if they’re able to identify fundamental problems with China’s government or economy that make them fundamentally unsustainable, isn’t that significant?
