>>212660922If these Torlak speakers are considered Croats that would mean that Croats natively speak everything from Carniolan Slovenian, Kajkavian, Chakavian and all variants of Sthokavian from Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia plus Torlak which is almost Bulgarian. This means that almost all of the South Slavic continuum with the exception of some groups of Slovenian dialects and standard East Bulgarian are natively spoken by some people who identify as Croats.
If this is really the case we are easily linguistically the most diverse group of Slavs bar none.
