Why do you live there even though the majority of the locals hate you? Just to get higher salaries? You could easily live a comfy life in a gated community in an Indian city because you guys are obviously from rich families. So I will tell you what it is. It's financial freedom. You will never get that in India for almost all of them.

In contrast they can work for 10 years in the US thanks to overinflated salaries and that will be enough to set them for life someplace poorer.
