They don't do math either, they have an app for that. Less than a 100 years ago the most advanced mathematical tool used by scientists and engineers was the slide rule. Nowadays you can input any function into a computational engine and it'll spit out roots, factors, alternate forms and a graph of it. See what I'm getting at? If you had carried an encyclopedia around with you and used it to look up stuff during conversations, people would have thought you're an idiot. Yet doing the exact same thing with a smartphone is considered completely normal.
