I'm 30 and I still dress the same way I did when I was 14. Does this happen in your country?

No I dressed like a skaterat when I was a teen. I don't skate anymore so I'm not going to be a poser and dress like it.

Occasionally yes because I don't like to throw out clothes unless they're completely ruined, but past 30 I refuse to buy any piece of clothing with words on them.

I've come full circle, I used to dress "adult" in my twenties as a young professional. Now I'm in my mid thirties and I simply don't care anymore. I don't go to work in sweatpants, but chinos, sneakers, band shirts and hoodies have become my usual attire again

Some of my clothing items (t-shirts, sweatpants) date back to when I was literally 15. I hit my full height really early and lost all the weight I had gained in my early 20s a couple years ago, so all the lanklet teen clothes fit me again. Obviously, my fit hasn't changed at all

How did you manage this? I've never had the confidence to even attempt dressing like a real important person. I'll wear a jacket and dress shirt to formal events but even thinking about wearing something expensive and well-fitted on a regular day just seems like I'm violating some unspoken social convention. Are you a sexhaver?

finally reached the boomer'ish age when i dont care how i dress. if its cheap and practical im wearing it. pants and shorts from biltema and jula (cheap swedish hardware stores) both the hiking and work wear style, hoodies or flanel shirts from wherever, hiking or steel toe shoes. i dont differ between work or a birthday, i wear the same anyway. i can put on jeans if its a kinda nice event or a full suit for funerals or weddings.

if you wear steel toe boots all day you probably don't walk very much.
