There're 3 courses of action I could take

Most would do this, but I hate the practice of overcharge oblivious people, it's making us street vendors look bad and might hurt our businesses in the long run

I would do this in a high trust society, but you guys know what they say about snitches, and if the old hag already bribed the authority then the amount of metaphorical stitches I get would be double.
