Europe should treat America as a migrant pool. There are many areas of Europe that need to be repopulated and this would be good for transatlantic relations

I grew up in the most bumfuck impoverished part of America, Eastern Kentucky, and dated an Irish girl for years and went to Ireland to visit her multiple times.

While I loved her, and the people there were great, you'd have to pay me millions to live there permanently. That place has nothing going for it other than tourism.

They're about on par in terms of having any feature (most likely none). Appalachia has more dire poverty than Ireland, but it also has more upper middle class people too. Also what is called middle class in most of America would be considered very wealthy in most of Ireland. The Irish middle class is pretty poor all things considered.
