It was the flag of the kingdom of Ireland when we were under Britain so not much here like it, picel is a better one I think because its one of the first republican flags.

All I know is that about a decade ago, some idiot in South Korea said that Irish people are alcoholics and they don't hire them as English teachers, and that became internationally famous through the BBC. I heard that it was widely spread in Ireland online. But if I remember correctly, South Korea drinks as much as the UK, Germany, and Russia. It's just that our mainstream liquors have lower alcohol content.
