I think most counties are lol.
Also Arizona is better for citrus farming anyways. Not sure why these idiots are even trying.

I'm convinced the Asian century is real. The death of South Korea and Japan is greatly exaggerated, and both ASEAN and China are all making large in roads in the global market.

Is this related to globalization? I imagine we don't have the best land to grow oranges in the world. Also people don't eat fruit or vegetables.

>Is this related to globalization?
no, citrus greening has killed orange trees in Flroida. Competent leaders would have prevented this from happening, or addressed this decades ago.

>I imagine we don't have the best land to grow oranges in the world.
incorrect, Florida has been known for it's oranges for centuries.

>Also people don't eat fruit or vegetables.
incorrect, we're the largest importers now due to our fall in production.

Just because you can grow something well somewhere doesn't mean it can compete on a global market in terms of cost or that it makes the highest quality product.
>AI: The best place to grow oranges in the world is in Brazil, particularly the state of São Paulo, due to its ideal climate and extensive orange groves.

500 million isn't nearly good enough (the Georgia Guidestones had the right idea). What's needed is to get the population not only back down to the pre-industrial norm of 200M, but WELL BELOW, somewhere on the order of 50-150M, and then KEEP IT THERE IN perpetuity, so that those living can both enjoy greater living space, lower intra-species competition, and also continue to burn fossil fuels at a much lower rate. The trick is to manage the population pyramid downward during this painful process, to minimize the suck for what is necessary. Elder care is just simply going to have to collapse, or at least become very difficult. Immigration is NOT the answer, and never has been. Fewer human beings is the answer, but no one wants to seriously think about that because it runs contrary to human instincts. Human instincts are ill-equipped to manage the problem. Worse, the poor Africans breed more rapaciously because they need multiple children simply to fetch water from the well and perform basic household tasks.

They clean and process it in America before bottling it into orange soda. It's actually economically more convenient to bottle things near to where they are sold because it is basically just nonperishable sugar and soda water. This is why Hawaii has different types of bottles than Continental America I heard.
