There was another flag that had chains and, while it was rudimentary in a way, I liked that unbroken invincibility vibe.

If it were American-looking, it would've had the tip of the stars pointed on the opposite of the center.

American flag symbolisms, vis-a-vis stars, have this concept that the tip of stars represent action/weapon/violence and that it always must be oriented on the outside, not inside.

You didn't have the foresight to pick the most realistic one.

It's not the EU flag though. The flag comes from the Council of Europe and the EU just stole it because 'European innovation'.

The best would have been the 2002 barcode flag but should be kept updated with modern technology so that today it's a QR code made up of all the state flags that leads to a recording of Ode to Joy. If someone in the EU wants to steal that idea I bet you could get some money to do it as an art project.
