Considering moving to Germany because people with a good education actually get paid well compared to what things cost there. Norway is great for unintelligent people working shit jobs. Not so good for others.
>>212717105 (OP)We want retarded nurses from India to wipe our boomers’ asses in nursing homes and eastern yuro bydlo to do trade jobs. There’s no demand for foreign talent in advanced jobs.
>>212717105 (OP)Lets see howmany weeks you last.
>>212717475Someone with a good education makes the same here as they'd make in Germany. But they pay half the price for food for example.
What do you disagree with?
>>212717539Hmm, unfortunate.
>>212717540As if Germany is some hell, lol
>>212717561Much harder to move to the U.S.
>>212717637Then Norway is a hell too. What difference does it make where I live
>>212717708You speak Norwegian and have a Norwegian name. The moment Alma Mustafaoglu, the HR roastie, sees your non-German name, your Lebenslauf is going in the trash.
in Germany
Software engineer: 60k
Senior software engineer: 62k
HR: 60k
Manager: 65k
Teacher: 60k
Public servant: 58k
World's greatest software engineer with open source contributions, 15 years of experience, published researcher, literally advancing cutting edge algorithms while managing a team of 50: 62k
>>212717712>the average in Germany is about the same as here but minimum wage here is two times as highMaking my point for me, thanks.
>>212717734Same as here then.
>>21271795060k is probably the starting salary for someone with a bachelor's degree
>>212718019Starting is 50k for bachelor's, 50k for masters, 60k is the end of career salary for both
The point is that skills don't pay
>>212717990They have the same issue (it's the Nordic model; highly educated people get paid less so that lower educated ones get paid more) but I'd be making significantly less.
>>212718046>highly educated people get paid less so that lower educated ones get paid moreIt's the same here and then the oppressive taxation comes on top, nivelating everyone further until there is no meaningful difference between a basic HR entry level worker and a lead software engineer
>>212718042>skills don't payWhy is the US the only place where skills pay?
>>212718239communism bad o algo, but unironically
>>212718239It's nazi to imply one person is worth more than another just because they solve the same problem in 10% of the time and are able to solve problems too complex for the former altogether
>>212717712Excluding oligarchs, the average annual income in Russia is $8,000.
Nothing unusual about a $700/month job in Russia.
>>212717712>Brazil>40k year USD for a developer Hahahahha, only if you are working for American companies as a remote worker.
This graph is bullshit.
>>212718138Germany
>Minimum wages ; 12.82 EUR minimum wage from 01.01.2025Norway; depends on the type of work. For a cleaner:
kr 236,54
Or 19.98 euros.
>>212718458It's literally the stack overflow survey where respondents tell their own salary
