What nobody on /int/ seems to understand is that "white" is a fluid term with virtually no consistent meaning.
Semites are certainly more closely related to Europeans than sub-Saharan Africans are.
Jews and Arabs are traditionally considered white for the purposes of eg the US census.
Who you are comparing yourself to determines where you draw the boundary for the term "white," because some ethnicities are closer to Europeans than others even if they aren't European themselves. And if you're going purely by skin color, plenty of Semites and Persians have pale skin.
