To be perfectly honest, I actually completely get it if he’s not too enthralled at first. There are a lot of other white dudes here who are just in the country to Oxford Study around. There’s also always the concern about the language barrier. Luckily, I speak Japanese just well enough at this point where I don’t have to use English as a crutch anymore, and if I don’t understand I just have to ask the person to dance around the topic and say it in a different way. I view it as a fun challenge to earn his respect. Hoping we can be bros one day, I think an older based Japanese father in law would make for a good friend.

It is true and I don’t care if this sounds simpy but I love being a gentleman and treating my girl with special care like she’s a princess. I always do stuff like open doors for her or pull her chair out for her or offer her my hand when we get off the train.
