Americans are honestly the best tourists.
Friendly, generous, polite, genuine interest in the country they visit. It can be italy or any other country, americans will pay real attention to the country they are visiting.
They can be comically naive and borderline stupid but that doesnt make them bad tourists. Much better than some smug euros who think they are above the law and start harrassing locals or puking in the streets. Didnt some dutch person take a shit in the middle of a turkish street last week. Americans would never.
