Okay but native speakers don't know this either lol
When I was playing a restaurant game with friends, I decided to name it "Unkind to Kine" as a joke, because we served steak, but they didn't get it.
How hard are these words?
>dilly-dally
>gormless
>drudgery
>deft
>abet
>cowslip
>buxom
I could come up with harder words than these, but then I'd think even a native speaker couldn't understand those.
The harder words for native speakers are French and Latin ones.

I know dilly-dally, drudgery, deft, abet and buxom. In my opinion, only drudgery and abet are rare among these, and I only know the latter from reading Old French.

I definitely didn't have a mental image of what a cowslip is before googling it, but you won't know most plant names unless you have an interest in botany. It's the same in every language.
