I grew up turbo landlocked. Fucking Iowa, One of the possibly most far inland places in this country. Closest large body of water was the great lakes.
And I STILL know how to swim. Swam in the river from a young age, still go to the local pool and indoor gym pool in the winters. I can't fathom not knowing how to swim.
