>The Marshall Plan (officially the European Recovery Program, ERP) was an American initiative enacted in 1948 to provide foreign aid to Western Europe. The United States transferred $13.3 billion (equivalent to $133 billion[A] in 2024[B]) in economic recovery programs to Western European economies after the end of World War II in Europe. Replacing an earlier proposal for a Morgenthau Plan, it operated for four years beginning on April 3, 1948,[1] though in 1951, the Marshall Plan was largely replaced by the Mutual Security Act. The goals of the United States were to rebuild war-torn regions, remove trade barriers, modernize industry, improve European prosperity and prevent the spread of communism.[2] The Marshall Plan proposed the reduction of interstate barriers and the economic integration of the European Continent while also encouraging an increase in productivity as well as the adoption of modern business procedures.[3]

Yes, South Koreans helping to rebuild Iraq is better than North Koreans assisting in Russiaโ€™s illegal invasion of Ukraine

We literally turned the entire peninsula into a parking lot. South Korea got the better side of things, we only dropped artillery on Seoul during the battles there, but North Korea got taken up the ass so bad by strategic bombers that there wasn't a single building taller than two stories left in the entire country.
Then there were the CIA backed death squads that went around purging families for communist sympathies, the Park Chung Hee and Chun Doo Hwan presidencies, all the crime and chaos US troops cause in Osan, I wouldn't blame South Korea for kicking us out.

>In a 1988 interview Curtis LeMay stated that about 20% of the North Korea's population had died during the war, including the UN air campaign, stating that โ€œOver a period of three years or so we killed off, what, 20 percent of the population of Korea, as direct casualties of war or from starvation and exposure?โ€
In hindsight cause the Kim dynasty was so retarded it turned out to be worth it but would the Kim dynasty even would have survived to the present day had they won the war? It was a civil war that the Norks were easily winning because the South's government at the time was so complete shit and didn't have the hearts and mind of the people. The North invaded because Syngman Rhee was doing massacres on his fellow Koreans and treating the country like a brothel. Only through subhuman tactics did the US get it to a stalemate.

Rhee had hearts and minds of people retard brown scum. Why do you think south korea had a stalemate with Chinese and north korean forces and did not get steamrolled like south Vietnam?
