I was lucky to be born in a historical period where i have access to a lot of commodities. We're having it easy considering the current poverty rate compared to the past, therefore i really belive that certain kind of complaints come from people unable to put things into perspective or stuck with their teenage mentality of wanting to live in their fantasy and idealistic world.
I know very well that things could go better, some have it worse than others, and it is normal to aspire for even better living standards, but like i said realizing you have the luck to be born in a first world country with easy access public health, information and entertainment really helps you to keep your feet on the ground and be more rational.

My life was really good and carefree until after college when I got a big boy office job and a serious relationship which everyone told me was amazing and I'm so lucky but I've never been unhappier

It's a good, okay paying, very stable and easy but boring job in front of a computer, and my gf is perfectly normal and good and stable and kind, but idk I feel like I have chains on me and I really miss the feeling of being able to do whatever I want when I want. I reiterate: I used to be very, very happy as a carefree younger person, and I am MUCH less happy as a responsible adult now

Guys hear the stuff above and all I run into is "fuck you you should be grateful for everything you have you're tradwife etc le stability you should be happy fuck you be happy" and it's like damn am the only dude in the world that feels this way? not sure what I want exactly but I know I'm unhappy right now and I just want to do whatever I want.
