I don’t get why people freak out over spiders. Honestly, they’re one of the best “roommates” you can have. Most house spiders are harmless and actually help keep your space clean by eating flies, mosquitoes and other annoying bugs. We just chill in their corner, do their job, and don’t bother anyone. I’ve had a few around my apartment and never once got bitten or had an issue.
Geckos, on the other hand? Way more annoying. People think they’re cute, but they’re loud, unpredictable, and constantly running around like they’re on speed. Worst of all, they poop everywhere. Walls, furniture, sometimes even near your bed or computer. And despite what people say, they’re not even that great at controlling bugs. Spiders are more efficient and don’t leave turds as a thank-you gift.
Bottom line: spiders are low-maintenance pest control. Geckos are loud little gremlins that treat your house like a litter box. Leave the spiders alone — they’re on your side.

Spiders are okay as long as they stick to the agreement and stay in the top corners but eventually all of them get zesty and start moving around. I had one that violated our agreement and go missing for a few days only for him to skiddadle across my hand and PC monitor.
