Do you think that if he would have been accepted in the Art school, the war would never happen?

It would have still happened but under completely different circumstances. Germany was politically and economically fractured, with no Hitler to help lead the Nazis, the KPD could have very well gotten into power and allied with the USSR, which very well could have led to Britain, France, and Poland going to war with the USSR/Red Germany/maybe republican Spain.

Without Hitler, Kurt von Schleicher would have become the dictator of Germany, but instead of a National Socialist regime it would have been a return of Prussian conservatism. WW2 would have likely happened but Germany would have been utterly BTFO due to not getting an alliance with Italy nor the Soviet Union and jobbing hard in France.

Germany would have less than zero chance of going to war with the Soviet Union without the Nazis being in power

The invasion of Poland only went as smooth as it did thanks to the Soviets invading too and Hitler didn't have to worry about his Eastern flank so he could focus his army against France. Even if there's no war with the soviets in a conservative alt-Germany, the government would still have to divide the army just to make sure that they are ready in case the soviets invade.

No, Hitler wasn't the only nazi, nor were the nazis the only revanchist movement in Germany.

But even then, there would have been very little risk of a Soviet invasion of Germany because there's a pretty good chance that the Soviets wouldn't have invaded Poland with a hostile conservative Germany. The only scenarios where the Soviets invade Poland are a Nazi controlled Germany or a KPD controlled Germany.

they probably wouldn't have made it far without him, for all his deranged schizo rants he was one of the best spokesmen of his time.

The notion of "united Germany" would have faded gradually, because there is no purpose for such an entity apart from keeping the French from clawing through everything west of Prussia

No, somebody else at some point would have done the same thing. It was inevitable after the punishing treaty, and the shenanigans that followed which undermined Weimar rule.

There's have been a war that Germany likely would've started, but I think Nazi policy would've been less extreme without Hitler's schizophrenic ideas behind him. I think they might've even stopped expanding after unifying German speaking lands. Actually, they probably need to war for a bit to pay for their original spending, but would've ended as soon as they could so long as they got the money they needed in the treaty.

Also, the smartest thing Germany could've done is sending envoys to the US early to charm them, since many in the USA were sympathetic to Nazi Germany due to German heritage and racism. If Germany kept the US out of the war they could've ended it sooner with the loot they needed, or maybe have even been able to get a good trade and loan deal with the US so they wouldn't need to war. But Germans are geopolitically retarded since the beginning of time (and still are) so that would've never happened. German foreign policy is just autism masked as genius, with the murder of French and Slavs mixed in occasionally, who are both superior peoples.
