I use chinese mp3 players all the time, ive had a few break cos I have them in my pocket at work and they get beaten up, but they are dirt cheap, can hold thousands of songs and streaming music is retarded and for fags.

No. Keypads were complete cancer to type on. And while blackberry keyboards were alright, sacrificing half the phone body for a keyboard meant the screen was relatively much smaller. Having a screen the size of the entire phone with a virtual touchpad that can be displayed and hidden at any time is a better alternative. And carrying a separate device just to listen to music or take photos was a pain too.

Modern smartphones might be boring, but they're effective and there's a reason why they have killed off everything else on the market.

I mostly miss the designs of these. Nowadays all smartphones look the same. Back in the day companies had to innovate in terms of design, so we got flip phones, sliders, Gameboy shaped phones. It all was pretty cool.
