I'm going to Istanbul and I recently learnt that racist turkroaches have restricted access to the first-floor prayer hall of the Hagia Sophia to tourists. As a Christian, this doesn't sit well with me, so I've decided to larp as a Muslim to enter.

DeepSeek has advised me to do the following:
>enter from Sultanahmet Square
>carry visible prayer items (prayer mat, prayer beads and a Qur'an)
>if questioned, say "Namaz için geldim" (I am here for prayer)

Y'all think this might work? Any Turks in with an opinion?

Nigga just pray wherever man. The entire point of Christianity is that you don't need to go to a temple to seek the heart of God

Let the muslims keep their (formerly our) fancy rock. The universe is our prayer chamber

I was there before they put those carpets to cover the marble floor, beautiful stuff. Nowadays it’s a ripoff you’re better off seeing other places. Oh and don’t let them scam you, they offer Hagia Sophia+some gay ass museum tour, you don’t need the gay ass museum tour.

Btw the whole thing is pretty amusing as a Georgian, we actually dealt with and had contact with the Byzantine niggas, imagine if one day some mongol and persian in Tbilisi offers a tour to tourists to talk about old Georgian civilization that once existed in that place, it’s that kind of surreal feel when we think that these Byzantine niggas that once existed now don’t exist anymore.

They ask for a turkish ID card if they think you’re a non-turk. Also DeepSeek is retarded because you don’t need a prayer mat inside a mosque and there will be Qurans in the mosque that you can read if you want to.

t.diaspora that prayed there a two weeks ago
