Because of how broken, corrupt, and anert congress is presidents have largely governed by either passing bipartisan bills that are highly authoritarian and benefit both parties or when they want partisan stuff they do executive orders.

I don't think you understand just how much you can't win in America. There's a reason why countries as big as it such as Brazil, Indonesia, or Russia are all either authoritarian as hell or corrupt and incompetent, and the U.S combines the worst of both worlds albeit along with some of the best of the latter.

I had the same experience a couple years back when I was 20 and had a 17 y/o gf. It was fucking insane how berated I was by my peers and branded as a "pedo" despite the fact that her having massive, perfectly shaped tits and a nice, heart-shaped ass were the reasons I was initially attracted to her.

It's a lot less sinister but equally as cynical.
Young people are typically more left-leaning (due to having a simpler world-view where there's no nuance and therefor a correct opinion and a wrong and evil opinion), so Starmer is probably hoping this would result in more stable Labor votes for years to come.

Don’t know how it is in Italy, but old people vote for gibs the same way young people do. They want Medicare expansion, greater SS benefits, etc. Young people want free college, free healthcare, etc. I would definitely support 25 - 65, basically those in their working stage of life being able to vote. Also exceptions for those serving in the military
