Is your language convenient for typing on a keyboard?
>Korean: Yes
>English: Hell. Fingers are messing up every time

qwerty is designed to reduce RSI. there are almost no words you can type only in home position. this is good for the health of your hands.

Let alone the qwerty format, english has their own inefficiencies in nature. for example, they has too much words that require double press, like "struggle", "smuggle", "giggle"

double-consonants indicate the preceding vowel is shortened.

Yep. Consider the word "bugle," which is pronounced with a long u sound, whereas the words OP brought up, "struggle" and "smuggle," have the short u sound.

strangely enough all belgian keyboards are also azerty including in flanders, which makes it annoying when some dumbfucks in a computer class purchased some second hand querty's
and i also always have to change the wasd settings. i'm used to it but perhaps it was for the better if we used the more common layout

No, forcing all belgians to use azerty is the first step in our grand plan to annex Belgium. You will use azerty forever and you will be happy.
