it's Euros and US that have problems.
We don't have to/mustn't raise the interest rate that much because the tendency of inflation isn't as strong as in the west. = financial companies deposit more money to the western banks, which raises euro and dollar against yen.

our government is trying to have our debt look worse than the reality to charge us with more tax.
In fact, our debt is virtually nothing to play catch between the government and the central bank.
why should we deactivate our economy by adjusting our interest rates just to follow the foreign economic turmoil?

this is probably about familiarity and similarity
usually, when south koreans travel abroad, if there is no korean restaurant, they eat at a japanese restaurant, and when japanese travel abroad, if there is no japanese restaurant, they eat at a korean restaurant
maybe we are comfortable with each other's food, atmosphere
so it would be right to describe it as familiarity

Their position on the US currency is incredibly incoherent. We can't have both a devalued currency and a reserve currency. On the other hand, no other major economy wants their currency to be the reserve currency. Not Europe, Japan nor China, and certainly not any of the large emerging markets like Brazil, India or Nigeria.

Whining about inflation and overtourism when you voted for the LDP is like shitting your pants and not expecting it to stink, it was their core policy and if they didn't like voting for liberals they had the choice of voting for a "far right" meme party or not voting at all, they are complicit and should not try to avoid responsibility

Now that makes sense but in reality, most of those who were suppoting LDP for right-wing talking points probably didn't even know what Abenomics actually was. They are that retarded.

>And as I understand it, netouyos still give Takaichi their full support
They still exist but not even the majority of netouyos. LDP's approval rating is like 25%, now there are two ''more right-wing'' parties and they have like 10% combined in political party support ratings
So I think it's safe to say most far-right Japs no longer support LDP
