Canadians often forget to leave a tip when visiting the US because it isn't customary in their country, and so when a waiter gets someone from Canada they are disappointed as they know they're probably not going to get tipped.

There is another group of people who also don't leave a tip even though they're from America and they're not forgetting. But you can't call them by name without getting in trouble so you refer to them as Canadians.

i used to be a lifeguard and attendant at a Jewish Community Center and a couple times a year, they would bring in the disabled children’s class from their Jewish school for a day at the pool.

it would unironically turn into half of the kids having nonstop diarrhea in the pool, followed by a downie trying to do a backflip and hitting his head on the diving board, and finally one of the teachers having a breakdown and leaving. this exact situation happened three separate times
