In Morrowind, really, the key is to just make a good starting build, and that sums up in just picking the skill of the weapon you are gonna use as a primary skill.
i can't stress this enough. If you are gonna use swords in your playthrough, pick longblade as a mayor skill in the character creation screen, or else you will miss 90% of your attacks.
Done.j It's that simple.
For Daggerfall it's just savesucmming and pressing the save key every 3 seconds.

I usually have the most fun as an Imperial RP'ing as a lost explorer or pirate from our world during the exploration of the America's (with mods). Apprentice wizards who use environment magic is also fun but can get OP if you figure out how to use it right.

Not him but I'm also 35 and when I tried to play it I found the world too empty, the characters are all blocks and the mechanics were just annoying. Also TES worldbuilding in general is bad and I keep noticing it now. The world always feels like a demo.

It's broken if you think about it for 5 minutes by even the simplest spells and as the player you're fully aware that TES is a static unchanging universe where nothing really ever changes.

what? at least in morrowind all spells are integrated to the lore and story coherently, for instance in that quest where you need to bring a teleport scroll to a prisoner so she can escape or how prisoner shackles are always enchanted to drain your magicka. It's really well thought out.

Yeah I agree on that the world is very static but it doesn't really break the lore and atmosphere at all. Maybe it can be inmersion breaking, but you have to be very autistic to go "ahhh why arethe NPCs no reacting when I fart???Literally unplayable...".

In skyrim I play nord cause it fits the most.

In oblivion I play breton cause it is the most OP. I would like to play RP high elf ayelid ruin explorer autist but I dont like weakness to magic they have.

In morrowind either dunmer cause it fits with general game, nord cause it fits with expansion, or breton cause magic dominates all other skills.
