What is the meaning of your surname?
What country is it from?

The ancient Germanic origins of my surname is that it means โ€œfamous spearโ€. As it was adopted by Normans it morphed into โ€œson of Rogerโ€. The Normans brought it to England where it is now known as an English surname. It is common in the US, Canada, and the UK

Unkown, basque origin but now is predominant in Catalonia/Aragon, it's very rare and sounds like a mix of Latin and proto-basque. Can't say more because we are 60 and 40 of us are on my smallish hometown
