It used to be lower and all the opposition parties, left and right, want to cut it.
So it might drop soon, but might not because they'd need to agree on either what programs to cut to pay for it or what other taxes to raise instead.

Personally i think VAT and stuff like it is fine since oligarchs and others canโ€™t dodge it, there is no way around it

they can cook the books on corporate tax, revenue, investments, buybacks etc leading to 0% tax year over year, but they cannot avoid 25% VAT on operating costs, services, supplies etc, so they end up paying like the rest of us
