Can your country's docs deny treatment to patients based on their political beliefs or lifestyles?

If not for personal beliefs, you'll be denied care because insurance in America sucks cock. Most who get approved for surgeries still have to fight tooth and nail just to get anesthesia covered/included. You're better off just never going to the hospital and killing yourself when shit gets too painful to keep existing.

I concur, I don't think doctors have the time or the energy to assess their patient's political inclinations upon which to deny them healthcare

Some obviously do, like in OP's article, but usually it's insurance denying patients care and not the doctors doing so.
