God struck the Egyptians with plagues, and then God completely healed the Egyptians afterwards, in order to harden Pharaoh's heart so that God could multiply his miraculous signs and wonders throughout the land of Egypt, until the day God finally drowned the wicked Pharaoh and his entire army into the Red Sea.
