i heard this meme is unironically pretty true LMAO. the non-elite average and low-status spaniards married in with the locals and became brown over time, while the higher-class indigenous who helped the spanish married with whites and became white.

Some kingdoms did, some others didn't. They were of course ignorant of God's rituals. For example Moches (at least the elites) did human (bruta ways) sacrificies and ritualistic rapes, good thing is that the Incas killed and burned most of the ones that did that. And with the Inca's situation was more complex, some curacas did child sacrifice and some others don't, ironically the one that didn't do child sacrificies were the ones to embrace Christianity the fastest.

>ironically
I say that because leftist here think that the most pagan Incas were the noblest of people, thing that is not true.
>moral-ish
Yeah they were moral, at least in natural terms. Some say that few ayllus had a concept of God really close to the Christian truth, but was really a complex empire, especially with the incorporation of what's Ecuador today to the empire, that sparked the civil war and even a cultural one.

know your faith pretty well do ya
yea some tribes all across the americas had come pretty damn close to God at least as best as they could without Revelation and took to the faith very fast and well.

what were the complex aspects about it? tbf most empires are complex

In religion terms the relations between each ayllu and what each local curaca did there, how the Incas were exporting they own people to colonize other tribes and so on, how they assimilated their culture and ways and how in most of Ecuador human sacrificies were quite normal and so on. As you can see some where die-hard demon worshippers and others more modest people, the Inca didn't favor any of them, so you have contradictory information about their rituals, even between primary sources and third sources or mor modern sources like, Pedro Cieza de Leรณn, Rostorowsky, Garcilaso de la Vega and so on.Inca Garcilaso de la Vega literally said that the Inca's didn't have human sacrificies, but archeology puts a doubt on that. You could imagine.
