sure but there's just no way around that. even if you took away all the investment incentives in a day, house prices will still be high because the country is incredibly desirable to live in. my friend considers himself 'unlucky' because the house he could afford is 15kms away from the CBD...when his parents house was 6kms - that's the disparity i'm talking about.
Doesn't matter what city, if you come from a stable household, you can in fact live incredibly wealthy lives in comparison to 99% of the anon in this thread. aussies cannot fathom how the rest of the world lives, they think our level is base level.
