What causes Islamic countries/cultures to be completely incapable of self-reflection and self-criticism?
Regarding history its very common that they unironically 100% believe that muslims never did anything wrong. Never commited any genocide, ethnic cleansing, violent conquest etc.
And on top of that that they pretend to be the victim in any situation too. For example Ive heard Turks here argue that the 1 the Armenian genocide never happened, 2 actually the Armenians commited genocide against the Turks, and 3 If you bring this up you just hate Turks/muslims.
Arabs and North Africans are like this too.
While Europeans sometimes take self-criticism to absurd levels atleast we are (more) honest about our past and history.

Again for example Turkish society is drilled with Armenian genocide denial in schools. Its the culture and society that forms these government approved views on history.

Honest answer is that only people from northern climates are capable of higher order thinking like that. It's why civilisations were always built by northerners like the Aryans and Chinese.
