why do mexispics self insert as italians?

I have blue eyes and I think people with brown eyes look very deep like you cant see where their pupil stops and starts even sometimes

Blue eyes just look normal to me since all my family has blue eyes

What DOES freak me out especially as a kid were people with short fingers. Looks so freakish and stubby. Do people with longer fingers look weird to shortfingercels?

Two reasons:
1. A lot of brownoids think they can "pass" as Mediterranean because of the dark skin/brown eyes. They also basically come out of the womb wishing they were white, and the closest they'll ever get to that fantasy is by convincing other people they're Italian/Spanish.
2. This isn't as true for Mexico, but in South American countries like Brazil and Argentina there were a lot of Italian immigrants. You'll occasionally run into Argie/BR flags on this board bragging about their "European ancestry" and 9/10 times they're like 5% Italian and look straight out of the jungle.
