EFLbros, why is it so hard to choose a language to learn? They all seem either too hard, too useless, or both, even though so many of them are interesting.

I speak English natively and I already know B2 Spanish because I had to learn it for my Mormon mission in Costa Rica. I’m interested in Turkish, Russian, Mandarin, Hindi German, French and so many more.

Because we have no real reason to learn another language

Like you need actual immersion to learn another language, and the vast majority of EFLs never need to do that,or have much of an opportunity to do so
