Brazil's first and most popular movement focused on integrating afro-brazilians into society, they were known, unlike most modern black organizations, for being monarchists, catholic and right-wing, often referred to as a fascist far right movement.

The Brazilian Black Front was allied with the Brazilian Integralist Action, who are also referred to as a fascist movement.

The BBF had their own newspaper, A Voz da Raça (The voice of race), which Integralists like Gustavo Barroso and Plínio Salgado would often write articles to.
