>USA-Canada-Greenland
EU style free trade agreement

USCAGR - Mexico development corridor will try to help Mexico reach a point where they are economically synced and able to join without Americans fearing "muh poverty" o algo

Then maybe Caribbean and central american countries can join. I always thought it would be fun to have no borders from USA-Bahamas because you can go via jet ski from Miami kek I was going to visit Miami for that and they were like
>Nah you need to enter from a port of entry
So I said fuck that and went to Washington state instead

I just think North American unity is powerful and awesome to be honest.

Canadians would seethe and are currently going off on how they're going to remove their economic dependance on the USA (good luck to them on that).

The status quo between Canada and USA is basically a brexit situation but worse for Canada. Canadians are finally realizing that maintaining political sovereignty while economically depending on a much larger neighbor has consequences, and are lashing out at us while refusing to take any responsibility for their situation.

No they wouldn't. Canadians are angry because we treat them like the butt of a joke and not as an equal partner. Trump talks about annexing them and making them a single state.

This is the best of both worlds. Countries maintain their sovereignty but there's freedom of movement and goods. All sides maintain their own army but there's a NATO style agreement (not that it's needed since I assume Greenland would join NATO so all three would already be obliged to defend one another).

When Mexico's economy develops they can also join the free movement - free trade zone but that will take a while. Part of the reason NAFTA is controversial is because of Mexico having an abundunce of cheap labour. if it was just Canada-USA nobody would care since our economies are more similar. That's why the EU has a lot of standards and targets you need to hit before you can join.

UK doesn't understand us though they're Old Worlders and have a totally different mindset. But Australia and NZ are New Worlders so I could see them joining if they wanted to. But this wouldn't be a total union, just a free trade, freedom of movement and common defense zone

This would be ideal but Canadian nationalists wouldn't accept it (especially now) and Mexico needs to rid themselves of the cartels.

There's also risk of brain drain from Canada/Mexico to USA, while poorer Americans would migrate to Canada for healthcare.

Not really. UK is mostly connected to Europe, Australia/NZ to Asia.

The only reason Canada won't accept it is because Trump ruining any semblance of North American brotherhood. If he was smart he'd realize we can all share the benefits of being neighbors without giving up sovereignty.

It won't matter because we're one economy
