For all the talk chuds have about hating Indians, I noticed there's never been any white supremacist terrorist attacks on Hindu temples.
They've gone after black Christian churches way more.

That would imply that they respect the Hindu and Muslim faith of the Indians more than that of Christian blacks. Which sounds fucked up but not unusual in the west.

If you're near by, you should visit this temple. It's an amazing feat of genuine human architecture in the modern day of mediocre buildings made to save money.

I've been to a few BAPS temples in california

very cool, very clean buildings. the food isn't great but who cares, it's free or basically free lol

honestly no hindu temple I've ever gone to had amazing food. it's always some miserable priest cooking up the most boring slop lentils in rice imaginable.

if you are ever down in San Diego I'd recommend checking out the self realization fellowship gardens. incredibly well maintained, right on cliffs overlooking the ocean, overall a really cool place

my understanding is that it's not explicitly religious at all, more just spiritual. I am not sure what this organization does or wants at all, aside from running this nice little garden facility. I guess the same is true for hindu temples
