I'll be honest: higher or lower does not mean, in any case, geographic beauty. For example, in the Andes Mountains there are mountains above 6,000 meters high and yet they are aesthetically questionable (or downright ugly) and also deserted.
On the other hand, I believe that the experience of enjoyment would be much greater in Ben Nevis, than above 6,000 meters in desert mountains...even for trained mountaineers that geographic panorama of high altitude and aridity is a real mental and physical sacrifice.
