Contrary to wartime allied propaganda, Hitler and the nazis never aimed at total world domination. He saw the 2nd Reich's colonial adventures as a waste of effort and resources that led to the country's defeat in WW1 and thereby delayed the "prophesized" expansion of Germany to the east which has been his no. 2 objective after unifying all Germans into the 3rd Reich. Hitler's aim in WW2 was European domination which would make Germany a world superpower, but there is very little to indicate that he would by that point wish to throw unimaginable amounts of resources into a global genocide of all non-germanic peoples.

Not quite. Northern Africa was supposed to go to Italy after the final victory. There were some calls for re-colonisation Togo, Cameroon, Namibia, and Tanzania by ex-monarchists, but there were always rejected by Hitler as he was ideologically opposed to the idea (which was also completely unfeasible at any point in the war).
