why are french people so patriotic and self-important about french language and culture, buy not french identity? like if you put a sign outside your store in german you're a threat to the french nation and you get a fine, but if you're congolese and move there you're welcomed with open arms, given an apartment, and your 7 negro babies are considered "french people" under law. it just makes no sense to me.
